How to Clean Kitchen Grease In Tile Grout
Cooking oily food or accidentally spilling oil on the ground can leave grout dirty and discolored. The more distance between tiles, the more apparent the greasy grout is. However, it’s not necessary to use a special cleaner. A good soak and scrub with household products can take care of the problem.
Using Chlorine Bleach
Wear rubber gloves and masks.
Pour 1 gallon of water to a bucket.
Add 3/4 cup of liquid chlorine bleach into the water, and stir using a large spoon or paint-stirring stick.
Dip a soft toothbrush or nylon-bristle scrub brush to the water and scrub the grout in smallish sections.
Leave the bleach solution on the ground for half an hour, then mop the floor with plain water.
With Oxygen Bleach
Mix a scoop of powdered oxygen bleach to your bucket of water. Stir with a large spoon or paint-stirring stick till the powder dissolves.
Pour the water over the ground. Use a generous amount to soak the grout completely.
Leave the mixture on the ground for half an hour, re-wetting since it dries. Maintain the grout soaked.
Dip a soft toothbrush or nylon-bristle scrub brush to the bucket of bleach water and scrub the esophagus in small sections.
Mop the floor with plain water.
