Butter is a design collaborative and product design company founded by Lindsey Adams Adelman and David Weeks. Their goal is to focus on the development and marketing of new products for the home with an emphasis on simplicity and affordability. Butter's inaugural product, a fiberglass paper clip-on lamp shade called Lunette, was first introduced at London's 100% Design show in 1999. Lunette went on to receive awards from I.D. and Blueprint magazines.

For the past few years, Butter has pursued collaborative efforts in a range of media with an array of artists and designers. These have included an edition of miniature busts by sculptor/designer Charlie Becker, a cd sampling the music of Turntables on the Hudson, a birdfeeder by designer Amy Adams, and a vending machine filled with small products which made its debut at the 2003 ICFF. Last year's ICFF brought about a new range of collaborations with designers Ross Menuez (Salvor), Elodie Blanchard, and Pat Keesey.
